Fifty-two years is a long time to wait. Haiti last appeared at a World Cup in 1974, went out in the first round, and then vanished from the game's biggest stage until now. Their return through CONCACAF qualifying has been called the greatest achievement in Caribbean football history, and it is hard to argue otherwise. But for a nation rebuilding amid turmoil, simply being there is the win.
